Adding flags such as filtered, unconfirmed, bought etc would allow us to do things like instead of eliminating items that get filtered, still allow them to appear in the image, but not affect statistics, and unconfirmed items could be inserted when we place auctions, and conversely bought items would be "removed" from the image when we make a purchase.
